Anthony

Anthony

Technician

"Passionate about all things home automation, audio/visual and networking. I have experience in many different facets of the systems integration industry including project management, sales, installation, integrated system design, and service. Since early 2012, I have aggressively pursued a concentration on the networking (routing, switching, WLAN) aspects of the industry while simultaneously developing, participating in and leading dedicated service departments for two luxury residential systems integration firms.

I spend my days in Linux, OSX, Windows, iOS and Android environments and my nights/weekends studying and, frankly, playing with Linux servers, Mikrotik routers and system administration. I believe strongly in the home lab concept and administer networking, storage, VM, and infrastructure monitoring servers for learning purposes.

I also feed my creative side in a number of ways including building sculptures, makeups and props with a Halloween focus; tinkering with electronics and embedded controllers; leather working; and podcasting. I cohost the "DIY Show" and founded/cohost the "Power Over Ethernet Show"
, both at www.AVNation.tv. I’ve also been asked to appear as a guest on both "AV Shop Talk" and "AV Week".

Rough around the edges but, smarter than I look"
